Fellows farms is an Inmaculada Coffee Farms project inspired and aimed to improve farmers quality of life by helping to enhance their agronomical and picking practices while combining it with Immaculada’s know-how and improving their price point. This so they can reach specialty coffees standards. Fellows also aims to portrait the producers to the international markets with all the traceability so all their work and effort can be appreciated. This way we can deliver excellent coffee from different. neighbouring producers.
The group of farmers is located in Cauca department one of the largest in coffee production and with higher acreage growth.
The association is working with a group of women called Mujeres Caficultoras de Pescador Caldono Cauca AMCAPEC in the Cauca department in the municipalities of Tambo, Piendamó and Caldono. Together they add 60 Hectares of
Colombian common varieties planted in agroforestry concept with trees and shrubs so they can protect their crops of adverse weather conditions.
The profile of the coffee is clean, citric, delicate tropical, sweet chocolate, raw sugar and sugar cane, malic and juicy acidity. All Fellows coffees are electronic sorted and each lot has a defined traceability and technical sheet, containing information about cupping, harvest date, variety, process, lot, farm, drying time and all the hulling performance indicators.
